Completed in 1987, Schlumberger Well Services is a six-building research campus located in an environmentally sensitive area northwest of Austin. The landscape plan called for restoration of seven acres of mid-grass prairie, several elegant courtyards, and xeriscape treatment of new formal plantings, all of which came out to a cost of $700,000. The project is the recipient of four design awards, including xeriscape planting, trees and natural area preservation, and landscape.
