Set under the canopy of a century old live oak, the Memorial Garden is a remodel of a previously underused space in the heart of campus.  The design of this garden included building the memorials and seating for vistors and families of students or staff who are memorialized here under the large live oak.  Structural soil, extreme care during excavation, and attention to detail was required during construction.  The Memorial includes a seating area, a small lawn, several options for memorials to be inscribed on stone, decorative  paving, and simple plantings.
